GeoMono vs Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit: how they differ and which suits whom (2026)

GeoMono and the Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit compared from their own pages: engines, Türkiye, where questions come from, update frequency, reports and fit.

By Published 7 min read

Key takeaways

  • The Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit sits inside the Semrush platform and is bundled with its SEO toolkit in Semrush One.
  • Semrush lists Turkey as a country for three of its AI reports; it does not state which language prompts are asked in.
  • Semrush draws on a database of prompts from clickstream data and updates most reports daily; GeoMono writes Turkish questions with you and reports monthly.
  • Semrush exports to PDF, CSV, Excel and Google Sheets and offers white-label reports through My Reports; GeoMono delivers a PDF and an Excel file per report.
  • Semrush suits teams already working in Semrush; GeoMono suits brands that sell in Türkiye and want each engine reported on its own.

GeoMono and the Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit both show how a brand appears in AI answers, from different starting points. GeoMono is an AI visibility measurement platform for brands in Türkiye: it asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews a buyer's questions in Turkish, without the brand's name, and reports each engine on its own every month. Semrush's toolkit sits inside the Semrush SEO platform, draws on a large database of prompts, lists Turkey for three of its reports and updates most of them daily.

Everything said about Semrush below comes from Semrush's own knowledge base and product pages, read on 7 November 2026 and linked in the sources. We did not test the toolkit hands-on. "Not stated" means Semrush's pages do not say, not that the feature is missing.

What Semrush offers, from its own pages

  • A prompt database. Semrush says it sources billions of real prompts from AI search clickstream data and Google's keyword dataset for AI Overviews.
  • Turkey in three reports. Its toolkit page lists Turkey among the countries for Visibility Overview, Competitor Research and Prompt Research. Prompt Tracking topic volumes cover fifteen countries, and Turkey is not one of them.
  • Daily and weekly updates. The toolkit page says the AI analysis reports and Prompt Tracking update daily, and Brand Performance weekly.
  • Full answers and sentiment. Brand Performance shows the full, unedited answer, share of voice, sentiment and recommendations.
  • SEO in the same subscription. Semrush One combines the SEO and AI visibility toolkits.
  • White-label. Semrush says reports can be white-labelled with My Reports.

What GeoMono does differently

  • The questions are yours, in Turkish. GeoMono writes the question set with you, in Turkish, before measuring, and keeps it fixed so two months can be compared.
  • No brand name in the rate. A question that contains your name is left out of the visibility rate, because the engine will name you whatever your visibility.
  • Five engines, each on its own. Every question goes to the same five engines, and each engine is reported as "named in x of y questions".
  • Failures written apart. An answer that could not be measured is recorded and retried, never counted as "not mentioned".
  • Namesakes filtered out. An answer about a different company with your name does not count as you.

What GeoMono does not have

  • No SEO suite. GeoMono does not do keyword research, rank tracking or site audits beyond its free AI readiness scan.
  • No daily line and no API. The full report is monthly, and results are read in the workspace and the report files.
  • No Google AI Mode. GeoMono's five engines do not include it.
  • No white-label report tool like My Reports.

Which one suits whom

  • Semrush says the toolkit is built for SMBs, agencies and mid-market companies. If your team already works in Semrush and wants AI visibility beside its SEO data, with daily updates and many export formats, that is what its pages describe.
  • GeoMono suits brands that sell in Türkiye and want the Turkish answers themselves, written questions that do not contain their name, and a monthly report where every number opens down to the answers.

Questions to ask either vendor in a demo

Whichever you are leaning towards, put the same five questions to Semrush and to us.

  1. Can I see the full question list before the first measurement? A rate is only as good as the questions behind it. Ask whether the list stays fixed between periods, so that a change in the rate is a change in the answers and not in the questions.
  2. Which questions contain my brand's name, and are they in the rate? An engine asked about a brand by name will name it. Those answers show how you are described, not whether you are chosen.
  3. In which language, and from which location, is each question asked? For a brand that sells in Türkiye, an answer to an English question can name different brands from an answer to the same question in Turkish.
  4. What happens when an engine fails to answer? Ask how many questions were planned and how many were measured, and whether a failure can ever show up as "not mentioned".
  5. Can I open the answer behind any number? A rate you cannot trace back to answers and sources is hard to act on.

Can you use both?

Yes. You can use a tool such as Semrush for wider tracking and GeoMono for a monthly report on the Turkish questions your buyers ask. If you do, compare each tool's number only with its own history. The questions, engines and counting rules differ, so the two rates will not match, and neither is wrong for that reason. Why this happens is explained in why AI visibility tools give different results.

The limits of this comparison

This page compares what each vendor publishes about itself, not results we measured with both tools side by side. Product pages change often; we read these on 7 November 2026 and will update this page when they change. If you work at Semrush and something here is out of date, tell us and we will correct it. Prices are left out on purpose: plans change, and they are rarely comparable like for like. GeoMono is our own product, so treat the GeoMono column as the vendor's own description too, and check it against the published method.
