How to read the report summary
Updated:
The summary at the top of the report answers four questions: what we found, who is named instead of you, why them, and what to do. Below it: scope and limits.
A GeoMono report opens at the very top with the measurement's credits: how many engines, how many buyer questions, the publication date and the report version. Directly below comes the summary, which is what you should read if you do not have time to read the whole report.
The four blocks of the summary
- Result (Sonuç). The headline figure is written as a pair of counts under the heading "Mentions in questions asked without your name" ("Adınız geçmeden sorulan sorularda anılma"), for example 3 out of 142 answers. Its sentence reads: when buyers asked without knowing your name, in how many answers did AI mention you. If the report also includes control questions, "Mentions when asked with your name" ("Adınızla sorulduğunda anılma") is shown separately.
- Who is mentioned instead of you? (Sizin yerinize kim anılıyor?) The brands mentioned most often in the answers where you were not mentioned, again as pairs of counts. These may not be your direct competitors.
- Why them? (Neden onlar?) The sources seen alongside the answers. This block is not evidence of why a brand was mentioned; it tells you what was seen together.
- What to do? (Ne yapmalı?) Up to three steps derived from the measurement by rules. You can copy each step and pass it to your team. A step is not a guarantee of a result.
The scope line below the summary states how many of the planned measurements were measured with an answer and how many received no answer. Those that received no answer count in no figure; we explain why in The difference between not measured and not mentioned.
The rest of the report
Below the summary, the full evidence follows in six sections: What did we measure? Where does AI see you? Where are you not visible? How does AI describe you? What to do now? What will the next measurement unlock?
In the last section, "Limits of the measurement" ("Ölçümün sınırları") states what this measurement cannot tell you. Next to it, topics that will be added with the next measurement are listed with the "not yet measured" ("henüz ölçülmedi") badge. If a section was not produced for this report, or could not be read, it is not left blank; it is shown with a warning symbol and an explanation.
Period comparison
The report's period page compares this publication only with a previous publication made with the same question set and the same version. If the question set is different, the page makes no comparison and says so clearly.
If the difference between two measurements is no larger than the difference that could arise when the same questions are asked again, the page does not write "rose" or "fell"; it gives the two figures and the likely range of the difference. The period page can be saved as a PDF using your browser's print feature.
